Why is it important to keep business and personal social media profiles separate and how can this be achieved?

Business and private profiles should be kept separate as they are different, the business profile is more professional while your private profile is more relaxed, and each of the profiles require different behaviours. This can be achieved by keeping business profile open to public and private profiles only accessible by close friends and family.
